     @StillIRise1963 Exactly. Remember he's a real estate developer at his core. Demo first. Rebuild (tackily) with other people's money later. They love the demo phase.

     @WarnerCrocker @StillIRise1963 It was a couple decades ago, so this should be adjusted for inflation. At a pre-construction phase meeting for a condominium project of a couple hundred residences, someone from the developer was going to seek 10 cents / light fixture cost savings

     @RDMMMMM @StillIRise1963 I've been in similar discussions (not in real estate) and generally when you're having those cost saving debates, you've already lost the war, the battle, and any strategy you started out to execute.
