   Trump fans say its a move to shock stocks and drive dollar bonds. Trump himself did not drive this narrative.
   
   Could be trump coin situation, all talk no action. There is no goverment ability to actually enforce all this new changes. Explicitly no industrial production policy to capture what comes.
   
   This supply chain shock alone will see importers drop entire shipments this few months. while they try to circumnavigate the half fucked plan that the trump admin dont even understand. This means short term actual scarcity due to scale.
   
   Importers would jack the prices of goods already cleared customs to match the new price immediately, they need to cover capital for next shipment.
   
   This will see some insane pricing numbers. Inflation will go to whatever number those tariffs reach.
   
   Thank god americans like to support american made and pay american dollars to buy american products.

     Knowing the track record he/they will backtrack the changes soon after.
     Still if it results in any inflation, that's what will help them with the debt.
