     i turned down a third "follow up" interview when i got a call back "great news! we like you and youre in the final running to get the job!" like it was a grand prize contest. i found out they interviewed a hundred people for a stupid technician job. they took four months to fill that spot and he quit in second week.

     I once spent SEVEN WEEKS jumping through hoops to get an otherwise great job, because there was constantly something coming up that left "key decision makers" out of the office
     
     I was in a pretty toxic job at the time so I didn't give a fuck about obviously interviewing elsewhere, but it was torturous having to go in four separate times and then waiting three weeks for the official hire green light
