@lain nobody buys a new car. my biodad says he cannot but new Mercedes, because they are worse than the ones he already has. he's buying old farm tractors and Unimog for forestry. he bought a 50 year old band saw because the modern ones perform worse.
it's like Asimov's Foundation when the empire collapses and people lose the ability to build stuff, clinging to the few remaining good things.Phantasm likes this. -

@lain in my country, most people simply cannot afford a new car (not to mention the added expenses that come with it). Private or commercial use, doesn't matter. But hey, at least countries within EU will be able to borrow (from themselves) enough billions to build tanks so, I guess we won't be needing them in the near future?
