   It really just reads like "well, matrix is better for fascist governments planning airstrikes on innocent people".

     Element would really want the US goverment to buy an expensive Element Pro SaaSS license while they are committing warcrimes. It would make them a lot of money after all.

     @element People in Yemen are dying and the idea you came up with is to promote matrix as the solution to planning more airstrikes on those people who asked nothing.

     Thank you for nothing, I expected slightly higher standards from you.

     @Xandru@masto.ai They are currently selling Synapse Pro, an "improved" version of the Synapse Matrix server that is proprietary instead of free.
     
     That means that if you want to host a Matrix server using the free software version Synapse you will always be treated like a second class citizen now.
