   @RoseThorndyke I can't tell if they are picking it as some kind of meme joke option or if they're 100% deadly serious.

   If they're serious then the question is, do they mean tentacle monster or like just someone who is eldritch or some spectrum of the two?

     @taylormccue @RoseThorndyke serious response on my part. And I thinking someone/thing that passes as normal but is/is host to something utterly inhuman.

     Not in a Lovecraftian Deep One miscegenation phobia metaphor way, but in terms of someone contaminated by something on the inside.

     So like someone who is like "oh no I'm not human anymore help!" (is still human society just doesn't see them that way and they're suffering for it)

     rather than like "wow I have cool tentacles" : ) : ) : )
