@janggolan The irony of the people who care the least about accessibility and equity feigning outrage about an ableist slur (levelled at one of the worst people on planet earth) is not lost on me.
Just imagine if Gov. Abbott (or The Abbotts Family) said:
Good: "All of us at some point will be 'Hot Wheels'…"
Better: "Do all the sidewalks in Texas have curb cuts? Let's get that done."
Best: "Do folks in Texas jump out of their trucks to assist after you've fallen? C'mon, help us saddle up!"
[In my experience, for example, peeps in NH just back up and drive away…]
