   Well, unfortunately it seems like the non-corporate, non-profit Fediverse is losing out to the VERY corporate and VERY for-profit BlueSky as more and more devs sell out.

   We're never gonna get out from under billionaire overlords, are we?

   We just out here creating new ones instead of building away from that.🤦♂️

     @Sibshops well, even if people weren't working on Mastodon and we're working on a different ActivityPub product, it'd be 100x better than selling out and working on BlueSky.🙄🤦♂️

     ActivityPub is the epitome of "you say you don't want billionaire control, well, prove it" and devs are proving the opposite by working on the corporate platform.😒
