     @selzero Mate, I wouldn't advise it if you were going next *week*. They're examining phones of US citizens when they re-enter the country. By the time next year rolls around, they'll probably not even be having elections.

     @fkamiah17 Philip K Dick had a book called The Man In The High Castle about the Nazis winning WW2 and taking over the US. I didn't think it was a prophecy.

     @selzero I read that as a teenager. The TV show's been sitting on a hard drive for yonks too but I don't think I've got the stomach for it.
     I read this about ten years ago, which is even more frightening, particularly when you consider it was written in 1935.

     @selzero nope, not a safe place to be at all, even for permanent residents. We are going to have to deal with this soon (american citizens) and I think general action is more likely every day.
