     @tk@bbs.kawa-kun.com j-poles are amazing. almost all wifi antennas up in a laptop lid are a j-pole, for example.
     
     i've won contests with them. they're fantastic.

     @purple The howto I linked to uses 300 Ω TV twin-lead, so I think that won't be too hard to find.
