@Forestofenchantment I've only read the Jordan Peterson book (and Harry Potter) from the right wing literature part and honestly it felt like a waste of paper and a waste of my time. But to be fair, looking back, beyond good and evil was probably a waste of time too. I recommend The Count of Monte Cristo though, loved it and read it again.
- Forest of Enchantment likes this.

@Shinobufag The 2000s movie adaptation of Count of Monte Cristo is one of the best movies I've ever seen, too. Highly recommend it.
Not surprised about that Jordan Peterson book sucking, right wing reactionary media is a landfill of poorly written garbage meant to siphon money off boomers.

@Forestofenchantment The only adaptation i've watched of it was the Gerard Depardieu one, which I really liked though it's a bit longer.
Unrelated to politics, one very underrated french novel from the 1800s is Bel-Ami by Guy de Maupassant. I highly recommend it too.
