>Paying retards up to shovel people's roofs, knowing they're gonna destroy the roofing and you'll be able to come back and make even more money fixing them later.
This is the kind of dipshit "entrepreneur" fraudsters that boomers worship and point to when they say pull yourself up by your heckin' bootstrapperinos.

Bit of a story about my grandad. Big dude in his day. 6.6, 300 pounds. Like a fkn mountain with a reputation for violence. Born in 1936 and apparently they were made of different stuff back then.
Back in the 80's he's buying a new truck and he figures out the salesman is trying to screw him. Grandpa shuts the door to the guy's office, decks him into next week, and walks out. To this day the man gets what he wants around here.
Point being is this little roofing scam stops when you knock somebody out.

My grandpa's brother owned a bank and tried to screw him out of some money he was due on a business deal because he thought he thought he was too stupid to know the difference between the 33% cut he was paid and the 33.33% he was due. Man fucking barged into his house and beat him over the head with one of those old school landline telephones that were super heavy like some shit outta like a mobster movie. Back in the day my grandpa was not a motherfucker you trifled with.

My uncle used to work a dealership lot and he always told me the most effective negotiating tactic was to just walk away. Works like a charm, especially when sales are slow because the manager is going to tear his sales staff a new asshole every single day they haven't moved inventory. This was how he got my dad a few extra grand off an Infiniti, he was with him when he was buying it and he convinced my dad to walk away even though he was ready to sign. Home landline was literally ringing as he walked through the door with the dealership on the other end begging him to come back.

@WhitestTemplar @Hoss @pepsi_man Singapore justice!

Singapore understands the punitive power of humiliation above all else. Caning is physically agonizing, but more importantly it's utterly humiliating. In the criminal underworld doing time has been twisted into a badge of honor, but there is absolutely no way to make getting your ass whacked bloody raw with a cane look hard or badass.

@Hoss @pepsi_man This is why corporal punishment needs to make a comeback. Paying a fine or sitting in a cell for a bit doesn't rewire the brain to avoid bad behavior. Pain does.

I heard a story about how to train a monkey.
Bro sees a trained monkey riding a bicycle, dressed as Charlie Chaplin, tips his little hat like a gentleman.
Bro has a moment of clarity and says "I realized that performance involved a lot of violence. Monkeys don't just ride bikes and wear clothes. You have to hit them"
