@Oregon_Pacifist @slowlygoingsane I think once they put Bluetooth in the controllers, that's when they started to face enshitification. I have a launch model first party Xbox One controller and it still works great 10+ years later. It wasn't until 2015 or so that they added Bluetooth to the controllers

@slowlygoingsane this is true, but the controllers used to be great and last several years. Now they’re junk after a couple of months.

I’ve now had a 2nd official wireless #Xbox controller die on me for no reason. These things are complete garbage. It powers on but no buttons work at all. Even with a wired USB connection, nothing works.
WTF is this crap?! The OG Xbox and Xbox 360 controllers were really well made. Ever since the Xbox One, the first party controllers have fallen off a cliff in terms of quality. :doomguy_gib:
