   @evan i think the protocol you developed is really good, but i think the platforms are bad in terms of long-term sustainability.

     @selfagency thanks! I only wrote the first implementation though. I also got to help @cwebber and @erincandescent and @tsyesika write the spec somewhat.

     @evan i think we need to develop innovative low-energy ways to connect people that don't require expensive hardware that also spies on you. the network itself has to be built on the principles it wants to promote more broadly. it also needs to be resilient and resistant to collapse. here's an interesting experiment: https://solar.lowtechmagazine.com/about.html
