     this is what Russian telegram says:
     
     "F-16 Shot down (https://t.me/pozivnoy_kazman/20068) at extremely low altitude, somewhere in the area of the Sumy region
     
     temporarily occupied by Ukraine, shot down by the S-400 SAM, but target designation for the 40N6 anti-aircraft guided missile (not "illumination", as someone wrote, it does not need it) and the transmission of information correcting the flight of the SAM in the middle section was provided by the Su-35S. So to speak, miracles of integration, now not only AWACS aircraft provide this, but also fighters.

     Там это, в общем, кто-то заработал на квартиру в Москве. За F-16AM несчастный, зачем-то, пообещали столько.
     
     Сбили на предельно малых, где-то в районе временно оккупированной 🐽 Сумской области, сбивала ЗРС С-400, но целеуказание для ЗУР 40Н6 (не "подсветку", как кто-то написал, она ей не нужна) и передачу корректирующей полет ЗУР информации на среднем участке обеспечивал Су-35С. Так сказать, чудеса интеграции, теперь уже не самолеты ДРЛДН это обеспечивают, но и истребители.
     
     Интересно, как шекели они там все делить будут эти?😂
     
     В таком режиме у нас из истребителей точно могут работать МиГ-31БМ(и БМ2, который где-то то ли запропал, то ли втихаря поставляется, ведь госиспытания его завершены были), Су-35С, Су-57, и, теперь, еще и Су-30СМ2.
     
     Кагал ожидает очередное языкотухесосование у видных ваенных икспёрдов, которые до этого предрекали шо таки F-16 ща как прилетят, ща как всем покажут, ща как вся авиация и ПВО, но зато будут радостно обсасывать работу наших парней. "А как до этого дысал" ©

     Ok, let's unpack that

     Two aircraft were in the air, an F-16 and a Su-35

     The Su-35 used an onboard system, probably LPI radar, to light up the F-16 and relayed the data to a SAM site on the ground.

     And the SAM flew up, ignored the Su-36 and took out the F-16.

     That's a whole bunch of, "That usually doesn't work all that well," that Ivan has figured out how to make work well.

     Traditionally, SAMs are set up in corridors and CAP flights have their own corridors and the two don't mix because SAMs really don't do IFF all that well.
