     @kaia ....now I /have/ looked it up, and turns out it was a good thing I never did before because they only gave this any backstory in 2016 and 2019.
     
     Someone watches Game of Thrones or Dune or whatever and made a planet with six great families and the title of Count goes to the person who rules over all of them.
     
     And nothing of value was learnt.
