Who invented bubble paper that doesn't pop?

Was that something Bill Gates thought up when he was between putting ads in the calculator and inventing genetically engineered super-mosquitos?

@cjd It seems this US company claims that they were first to invent it; https://www.dezeen.com/2015/07/06/bubble-wrap-redesigned-pop-less-packaging-material-ibubble-sealed-air/

Bill Gates no longer make operational or development decisions for windows - he just collects dividends and I guess ocassionally sells and rebuys his stocks.

Sounds like Pottering replacing eth0 with ensp0f0 because "eth0 is not stable per-boot", except in practice it is, but ensp0f0 isn't.

This must be how they end up with vaccines that kill people for diseases that don't.

@cjd @Suiseiseki More like "every update re enumerate audio hardware and generate new unique identifiers thus forcing all software to revert audio settings to their default."

In the past two decades and a half listening to podcasts and live streams that is the chief complaint of content creators.

He probably occasionally sends an email to headquarters with something like:

WHEN THE BATTERY IS AT 1% AND THEY HAVE UNSAVED WORK POP UP AN UNCLOSABLE SYSTEM UPDATE WINDOW.

@cjd @internetfreak Why on earth would you use Alpine BusyBox/Linux (BusyBox is an inferior clone of GNU, under a GNU license), as that OS is not designed to give the user freedom, unlike GNU/Linux-libre.

You have to edit wherever the Linux cmdline is set - on the finest GNU GNUbooted systems it's /etc/default/grub, but I'm not sure about Alpine.

@cjd @internetfreak Unfortunately it doesn't - it breaks itself often.
