     if the houthi problem could be solved with a few tomahawks it would have been taken care of years ago and nobody in america would even know yemen exists
     
     there is a perfectly serviceable alternate shipping route that was used for centuries. we do not HAVE TO route ships through a few hundred miles of potential linear ambush
     
     we're talking about spending many billions to save international shipping companies millions, while fixing half our navy well within missile range of iran. militarily, this is one of the dumbest things we could possibly do
