There are few things that grate on me more than people copying and pasting straight ChatGPT generated comments on blogs, videos, etc.
At least do the minimum effort of typing out your own thought based on their summary and your own brain.

@geerlingguy they should also be flagged in some way and channels should be able to decide if they want to allow AI slop comments or not.
And as a user I want to be able to block seeing such comments and if that means I have to block people individually then I guess that works but I’d much rather just have a toggle somewhere.
@homtaardy a race to the bottom of the pile?
@geerlingguy
Maybe they're in rush ?!
@neuron @geerlingguy it could be flagged by users and if they continue to post their comments could be held back for moderation either by Google or the channel owner.
@mattl @geerlingguy That would be nice to have, but there seems to be no surefire way to distinguish AI from human content. Otherwise the issues wouldn't exist. People using AI slop wouldn't mark their content to be blocked. Currently it seems that usernames are often constructed in way that indicate bots, but probably not for long.
@homtaardy I would just rather see no AI generated slop anywhere.
@mattl
It seems it's a race .
Tho, i agree the jeffs opinion.
