     As a further proof: the last time a society declared certain kinds of people not human, over 6 million lives were destroyed in an industrial process: Nazi concentration camps.

     This must never happen again.

     Roussau was wrong. There is no "noble savage". Human beings have savage traits.
     Understanding this makes it easier to comprehend the Christofascists. And develop strategies to neutralize their further rise to power.

     Typically, comes from people who would not be initially shoved into trains by a MAGA regime.

     For some, IT'S EXISTENTIAL. For others, they can afford to tsk-tsk as the trains are loaded.

     You mean well. And I agree with your assessment of fundamentalism.

     But you err, and I am sorry to have to say this, gravely with regard to them not being human.

     Declaring your foe to be non-human is the final step in escalation. It provides you with the justification to anihilate the enemy, b/c he is no longer protected by human rights, etc.

     The Republicans are not not conservative (of course,) they are not even reactionary. They have been taken over by MAGA fundamentalists which are not unlike muslim fundamentalists in that they want to create a (quasi?) theocracy.
     That never existed in the US, though.
     Therefore, I say that they are not even reactionary.
