     Judas was the real Jesus because he sacrificed his name and allowed it to become synonymous with treachery and betrayal in order to fulfill the prophecy and enable Jesus to die on the cross. The myth that Judas is a betrayer, and not Jesus's most loyal and trusted disciple carrying out his will, is part of his sacrifice.
