     @lain I tried Copilot again because uni has it for free. it's sooo bad compared to Cursor. I think Copilot even regressed after being made generally available. maybe they cucked its model, because it would be too expensive to offer it for free?

     @kaia honestly I have no idea what Microsoft is doing, their small LLMs that are open weight are good, but their commercial stuff is close to useless, at least in comparison with cursor or Claude code

     @kaia @lain I've noticed the same thing. I tried using it multiple times since it's the only company approved AI assistant and it always was almost useless. It's built into our Sharepoint site where it is supposed to able to summarize our documents and pages, but almost every time I tried that, it usually either spit out a nearly exact wall of text back, or hallucinated things. It cannot help with slightly more complicated software configs, nor can it answer questions about public documentation that aren't dead simple. And developers mostly gave up on using it completely. As far as I know it's now only used by management to format emails and do basic tasks like that.
