@mjdigspigs I'm glad you were at least notified. They didn't tell people back in the day and it was often a pyrrhic victory getting out of debt only to owe on taxes.

@BowsacNoodle Yes, thankfully for the most part we don't have debtors' prisons. 2 exceptions I'm aware of are IRS and Child Support. Have served time. I think I can stay out on this thing, it's only 3K ish on the 990

@TorbasaTuba @BowsacNoodle I have found favorable judges and unfavorable judges. I'd just prefer to NOT roll the dice and be in front of one.

Back when I was in court fighting to avoid paying alimony (all the money, as the comic said) one of the points my lawyer made was "Even if you find him liable for it, he's got no money to pay it!"
I liked that argument and the judge found in my favor.
