   I spent hours configuring a Matrix server (tricky part was configuring it in such a way that it would use the same domain as my old instance without a special subdomain) only to realize after Matrix sucked after two days and shut it down.

     @animepfp @Some_Emo_Chick @Hoss It's easier when you do all the complicated stuff yourself and self host. Then just tell your family, "Download this app, then sign in with this username and password. Use this address when it asks."
