@moof It's absolutely not here to stay, at least for not any code that has lasting value rather than a minimum viable parlor trick to scam some VC cash.

Having recently resuscitated my old Haskell notes from university, I remember remarking at the time that it was an incredibly easy to read language that was quite difficult to write properly.
Given the new age of LLM-generated code, something that I feel is definitely here to stay however much we hate the idea, maybe optimising for readability might be something to keep in mind, and changing to languages that are better for that could be a step in an interesting direction.
