   Daylight Saving Time—what a disaster, folks! People hate it, nobody wants it, but the government keeps it going. SAD! Permanent DST? Tried it before, didn’t work. Permanent Standard Time? Maybe the way to go. But trust me, the bureaucrats will find a way to mess it up BIGLY. Waste of money, waste of time. Let’s fix this mess once and for all! MAGA!

     @Jagahati what’s going to happen is retards will push for permanent DST, which was a tremendous failure last time it was tried. So they’ll pass that and it will fail again and we’ll go back to changing the clocks twice a year for another 50 years. People will never stop bitching, even if we do the right thing and go permanent standard time.

     No matter what, it will cost a lot of money to do it.

     Daylight saving time is a nearly perfect emblem of government reform.

     Most people don’t want it.

     It would cost the state nothing to change it.

     It’s questionable whether they had the authority to implement it in the first place.

     We still keep doing it.
