The new employee, Austin, at the deli counter made a mistake with my order. That's not at all what my complaint is about.
It was highly inappropriate for him to be reprimanded for his error in front of the customer! Furthermore, he followed the exact instructions other staff gave him. Their instructions were incorrect.

Reprimanding employees in front of customers is inappropriate, and blaming him for following directions exactly as given is bushit!
I ordered a half slab of ribs. He asked the other staff how to divide it, as he hadn't done it before. They told him "7 or 8 bones", which is pricely where he cut it - which turned out to be 2 thirds.
Austin deserves an apology, and feel free to let him know I'm the one who called this out.
