     @vertka i dont have to do it manually either, on nixos. I just set up my patches and config options and stuff gets compiled when something requires it

     @prettygood @vertka I do customize some stuff (adding patches, enabling/disabling some things), but for the most part I don't do that since... why do something I don't need?
     
     Plus well, in this example... I do use bluetooth, quite a bit in fact!

     @vertka @prettygood yeah? I don't like cables. I don't use my mouse as bluetooth anymore due to it showing signs of age (or it's the bt chip on my laptop being weird), but I use bt on my laptop for audio (sennheiser hdb350bt headphones, for gaming, listening to music and vc [but i dont use the headphone's mic lol])

     @mischievoustomato @prettygood fair, i actually bought a bluetooth dongle just for headphones and xbox controller, in case if i need to go around in my room or wash dishes. though, i acknowledge that a normal audio player would make it redundant. i think having a dongle is better than not having it or have a non-removable chip, which you can't unplug if you don't use it often.

     @vertka @prettygood the chip on my laptop (and chips like this for laptops have been this way for a while) is bt+wifi combo, and it's also replaceable (i plan on replacing it since mediatek is awful)

     @mischievoustomato @vertka I hate wireless anything. Everything I use is corded, mice, keyboards, mic, headphones, networking, my fucking home phone is the only cordless thing I use regularly. I have WiFi for the normies obviously but yeah.
