   I just went on WeTV to check when the elimination episode of #ChuangAsiaS2 is scheduled. They're eliminating 25 of the 60 contestants so it will be a big cut and I'm looking forward to the drama etc

   Well.

   I just clicked on the voting link while looking for something else.

   Voting has been disabled for the last week or so and would normally be enabled again for the final 35 after the elimination episode airs.

   *They've already updated the voting page with the elimination results, and reopened voting for the remaining contestants.*

   I clicked away pretty rapidly because MASSIVE FUCKING SPOILERS.

   But oh god I want to go back and look.

   I *think* the elimination episode airs on Sunday night. It's Thursday night now. There's no way I'll be able to resist the temptation to look for *three whole days*.

   Should I just give up and look now? Since I know I'm going to look anyway?

   Or should I try to pretend to myself that there's a genuine possibility that I'll wait until Sunday?

   I don't know why I'm even bothering to ask these questions when I already know what I'm going to do.

     @lookitmychicken I guess they re-opened early for the VIP? I don't particularly care about spoilers, want me to check something for you to scratch that itch but still get surprised when you watch the episode?

     Only one of my favourites was eliminated, and it was the one I was fairly sure would be. The producers didn't love him enough to give him much screen time.

     At least 3 of my other faves were below the rank-35 cut-off when they stopped updating the voting page, so they all had big late surges and made it through.

     Yet again I'm questioning whether my taste has become too basic. Why are other people voting the same as me? 😂

     They haven't revealed the ranking of the top 35 yet, at least. The remaining 35 are simply listed in alphabetical order.

     I can only vote for 5 trainees per day now, instead of 7. Nooo I need to vote for them all.

     @yuuana have you been watching the whole thing and no-one else has grabbed your attention yet? Or mostly picking up second-hand info? Or something else?

     Honestly I doubt the voting is ever close enough that individual votes matter much. And anyway the producers will nudge the votes in whatever directions they prefer.

     I always vote for Hu Yetao, but my other votes fluctuate. I am always willing to be won over by the other trainees

     Right now, only Hu Yetao, Thi-O and Dorn are locked in for me. I find it hard to imagine that any one of those three will be eliminated any time soon. So I'm scattering my votes around between Pray, Shoya, Peanut, Aguang, Duy, Thi-O, and Dorn.
