     @ppb1701 same. It's so annoying. I just wanna browse posts of people talking about Fediverse or Fedi related projects.

     Why is it so damn hard to understand that hashtags are for tagging related topics and not just to get eyes on your bullshit that I don't care about?!?

     It's almost 100% that I'm gonna block you if you're spamming hashtags when I probably wouldn't otherwise.🤦♂️

     @BeAware yeah, they're topic markers really or a "search" keyword. If you are following or looking at one, you aren't going to want to see a bunch of random unrelated stuff. That's just asking for blocking.
