@FeartnTired This was common, so many for no reason, rape, mild conditions of really no great importance, epilepsy, child out of wedlock, you name it. Then they became institutionalised and you couldn't tell how bad they were anyway, I mean re their actual MH state, which was cart and which was horse.
As for "care in the community", when they were all turfed out to disappear with no support 😑
