   @Dianora @evilscientistca I've always wondered what's stopping the US from literally bricking any of their advanced weaponry if they decide they don't want it used. A backdoor, crippled long after sale.

     @evilscientistca You aren't the only one that's said this or similar. The F-35s will be made in the U.S. and if the U.S. will control the tech inside. We would not be able to get spare parts.
     I suggested the Gripen earlier as others have. It was a runner up anyway.
