I now have three MacBooks. But none of them have macOS installed except for the M1Max 16" MacBookPro.
That's right. For me, the biggest advantage of macOS is the ability to use Touch ID on macs and iPhones. And with their presence, Apple iCloud Advanced Protection will finally have value.
Where is the value of Apple products to you, fedi?

@kotaro I use Logic Pro for music production. That's an M2 MacBook Air. I used to run a Hackintosh, but it was on Intel hardware, so I bought the laptop and now use the Hackintosh PC for Linux.

@kotaro It has a virtual drummer that is very good. I only need to write parts of the drum track which I feel need specific drum parts. The virtual drummer handles the rest. I could do it all in Linux, but I would have to write more drum tracks. It also comes with quite a few instruments, which are very nice, and some loops, which are okay.

@steter Makes sense. You utilize Apple products as an affordable music production solution. It is true that free tools such as Reaper do not provide the useful material, so an all-in-one environment may be necessary, even though you have to pay for it.
