     @boo_ SAS is an enterprise-grade disk protocol
     it stands for Serial attached SCSI
     SCSI is a >50 year old "standard"

     @doskel @boo_ The cost is why I just use SATA drives on my SAS HBA.
     
     (I have the HBA because I also have an LTO-9 tape drive. :blobfoxgoogly: )
