   I managed to download all my Kindle books before Amazon took away that ability. Thank goodness I found a script that made it go faster. Now I have them on a kindle but also backed up.
   Amazon can fuck right off with this book bullshit.

     @cjewel Good for you! I know a few people did.
     I ... didn't even attempt it. [😬 I also had WAY more books than most - over 60k] - I got like 575 or something.

     @kingrat sending it to a kindle and then getting those files? (Which - not sure if it can be done via an app on a phone...) Or do you mean something else? @cjewel
