   I'm looking at LibreWolf, and the amount of effort needed to reverse some of its more heavyhanded decisions looks like it would be more work than adding (more) protections to my existing Firefox install. I mean, that's basically their selling point, but still.

   For example, you can't have the browser tell sites you prefer dark mode because THAT'S FINGERPRINTING, and the only way to bypass that is to disable ResistFingerprinting entirely.

     @foo is that really fingerprinting though? It’s no different to supporting a media query in CSS for a particular screen size.

     The browser itself should make that choice when rendering, nothing is reported to the site.

     @mattl Oh boy, SPEAKING OF WHICH! They fudge the screen / viewport sizes reported to the sites (which I'm sure will be fine 95% of the time and REALLY mess up the remaining 5%), and block the option to start a new session maximized.
