   @atomicpoet@atomicpoet.org it's not exactly reverse chronological in the way you'd think, iirc it's actually the order in which the messages arrive, very similar to email. it's the absolute minimum you'd do.

     The notion that #Mastodon isn’t making a choice on how to categorize and organize the content being displayed is complete and utter bullshit.

     Of course it is.

     A reverse chrome timeline is a choice. Mastodon could, of course, choose to display content differently but it chooses not to.
