     @fletch Yeah, and I feel so bad for spending so much time coding, working on Pixelfed and Loops while I could have been spending time with him.

     I'll never take them for granted again, I feel so empty. He was such a big part of my life for 9 years, we had a daily routine.

     Now everywhere I look is filled with memories of him, and he deserved so much better.

     @fletch @solidar_IT yeah, that was the hardest part.

     he didn't go immediately, the vet almost went and got more sedative, almost like he was fighting and omg like it was sooo hard.

     I'm so lost rn, he witnessed the birth of Pixelfed just watching me code for hours and being the only best friend I'd let in.

     he was my baby, since he was 8 weeks old. I'll never forget him, as tough as it is.

     @solidar_IT @dansup I held my little one as they injected the euthanasia dug cocktail. I held her till the vet confirmed her heart had stopped. Crying again, I feel he little body collapse against me.

     @dansup they give selflessly, we lost our Gracie to cancer 3,5yrs ago. Still tear up when I see photos of her.
