   1/ I can’t believe I have post this to the universe, but, people:

   Trump & his thugs have SAID they intended to destroy the govt & democracy OUT LOUD, in Project 2025, & in speeches (JD Vance), and more!

   Why is this just now dawning on so many of you?

   It’s been out there for years. They’ve been aiming for this for decades. I’ve posted about Yarvin (https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2024/dec/21/curtis-yarvin-trump?CMP=Share_iOSApp_Other) and the rest on Mastodon and elsewhere for a long time.

   Maddow covered it extensively

     2/ People, I’m not referring to MAGAts or Republicans here, I’m referring to my own followers!

     I get reply after reply from my FOLLOWERS who seem to have just figured out that it’s about ending democracy/the government.

     It ALWAYS has.

     Where have they BEEN for the past decades? Esp the past few years!

     Before Reagan politicians paid a price when caught lying. Reagan made it normal to lie without consequence. When he got busted he would chuckle and his staff would say, you know - that's just Ron being Ron. After that the press gave up on finding the truth and just started reporting "both sides." Cheney & Co evolved it to, Fk you I make the truth. . . and the cult was born.

     @GottaLaff I know sooooo many people who don’t even scan the news. 🤦🏻♀️ When something happens to *them*, that’s when they start looking into things. Without really knowing how to look bc they’ve always ignored the news. 🙄

     We are a nation of *extremely* low-information voters.

     As with most things, I blame Reagan. Not that he did it single-handedly, but he gave the rock a big push.
