@mwyman I don't really know, but I am guessing it makes culling possible infected populations and easier choice given that more eggs from other sources are available.
@paulc I imagine like any product situation it is a combination of both.
@WarnerCrocker My first question is how much is egg production down. I've read 2-3% but not verified. The egg business in the US is a cartel that reacts to threats of anti-monopoly government action, which won't happen. So we don't know how much egg price increases are due to lower production vs. cartel price manipulation.
