@dxm these are usually neon lamps not LEDs, LEDs need to run on like 12V so they need a circuit to convert from 220V -

@dxm those lamps with the grid pattern are most often neon lamps -

@dxm a lot of kitchen appliances have neon lamps instead of LEDs. they make way more sense because they run on 220V and if you dont need any low voltage stuff on the appliance then you can just run a neon lamp in there snacks likes this. -

i find myself selecting kitchen appliances based on my sensory issues more than functionality (╥﹏╥)
does it beep loudly? does it have bright blue LEDs that burn my eyes out? does it have weird surface textures that feel icky?
