   For people that want to use our custom repository at https://fdroid.fedilab.app

   Here are the steps:

   -First export your data from Settings. It will create a file needed later,

   - Remove the currently installed app on your device for all profiles,

   - Add the repo simply from the link above and pull to refresh on FDroid,

   - Install the latest version from our repo,

   - In the login page, tap on three dot then import,

   - Pickup the previous saved files.

   You will have all your data back with accounts

     Excepted that you will need another app for push notifications, FDroid is better.
     With Google, we have to remove parts of the app, like donation links, the registration feature. Maybe more in the future.

     I bought my Fedilab on Google Play. Would there be any technical advantage (leaving aside any moral or privacy-related advantages) if I ditched it and began using F-droid?

     Didn't realize that the app on your repository and on F-Droid's are incompatible due to different signing. Switched to your repository. Works like a charm.

     Got this error when trying to add the repo with f-droid 1.21.1.

     Fedilab on F-Droid is still v3.28.2, which is 2 versions behind, and dates 2024-03-28.

     Thanks for information. Changed it before. Very easy. Only 2 Minuten with changing notification and battery optimization back. 🔋📱
