   I'm looking for a decent VPS provider and wondering if my readers might suggest one that has:

   * London servers, specifically hooked up to LINX with excellent peering

   * Unlimited data transfer -> no data caps

   * At least 1Gbps - not "up to", but actually 1Gbps, ideally closer to 2Gbps

   * I don't care about storage/ram but it must use good host CPUs and not be too congested (CPU- or bandwidth-wise).

   * Dual stack IPv4 and IPv6

   I will use it to create my own personal low-latency OpenVPN tunnel.

     @libreleah I'm using OVH, they have a London data center and unmetered 1Gbps offerings. I'm doing much like you, but I'm using wireguard, not OpenVPN.

     @hyc I'm actually considering OVH, it's on my list. What's th latency like?

     You say wireguard, so: what average latency do you get without using the tunnel, just your raw ISP I mean, and then what latency do you get while inside the tunnel? E.g. pinging google dns

     My ideal target is to have no more than 2-3ms of extra latency vs my real connection.

     @hyc ok, about 5ms. idk where you are in the UK though - and/or what isp you use. but that sounds pretty reasonable. thanks!
