   Considering switching from ProtonMail to Mailfence, but so far it seems like quite a few services see Mailfence as a spammy domain. The paid version gives the option for mf.me as a domain. Arguably, that one would be less censored by being a paid service, but we are not sure.

   Maybe we should just stick with Proton. We use our email mostly as a digital passport anyhow. It's not really used for communication purposes.

   Thoughts?

     I recommend @runbox, especially for your use case of little to no actual communications. You'd do fine on their tiny plan. I don't remember what country they're in, but it's not here.
     So cheap you'll forget you paid them, and so reliable you'll forget to think about them.
     Only twice have I had something complain about their domain, and I"ve had them since I dumped Google years ago.
     Their system is also very compatible with whatever can do email.

     @hellomiakoda @VanessaNightshade Thank you for the recommendation, we appreciate it! Our servers are located in Norway (they run on renewable hydropower). We also have a new spam filter in the works - stay tuned!

     It seems good alternative to #proton hosted in #EU. Unfortunately no #ios app available that can replace all my demands. The default ios mail client is no go.
     I have another one year till the end of my Proton paid plan. So, until then I will continue to follow whats new in #runbox blog
