   In what reality would it be logical that a country that has been attacked and fighting for it's very existence for the last three years needs to repay the support they got😠

   Much of their country is in rubble and you also want to burden them with a massive debt?

     @stux did people think if the Dems held the government they'd never find a way to squeeze money back out of Ukraine? Really? It 100% would have been oil, gas, minerals, and ongoing weapons deals -- just with less direct coercion.
     
     The US government never does charity. There's always a motive.

     @feld @stux Aid is not charity, it's an investment into future trade opportunities. BTW this was the point of USAID too: non-starving, non-dying people are better customers.
