It's the zombie apocalypse and you have a beater vehicle. The tape deck is broken and can only play one side of an album on repeat. You have to listen to it until you die.
What's your album?

@skinnylatte The Rocky Horror Picture Show (soundtrack) Original 1975 release
@skinnylatte Rhythm Nation 1814, by Janet Jackson, Side B. But I would be mad about not being able to listen to Side A.
@flashesofpanic wow, what a memory! thank you for sharing, and great choice
@skinnylatte If it was a CD stuck in the stereo I might have a different choice but cassette players demand cassette-era music, I think
@skinnylatte I have oddly specific muscle memory of ejecting cassettes from the aftermarket cassette deck of a 1984 Mercury Topaz and slapping them on my thigh to change my grip and re-insert the "other side" because the "auto-reverse" head was mis-aligned and only played in stereo in one direction. (A lot of things in that car were mis-aligned by the mid-90s, including the doors, which were salvaged from other cars.) All of which is to say, The Replacements, Pleased to Meet Me, either side.
@skyfaller good one. that also played a huge role in my early teenage life.
@skinnylatte Can't go wrong with side A of "Dookie" by Green Day. I listened to it a lot while discovering depression as a teen, and I imagine I'd feel similarly about dying in a zombie apocalypse, except maybe less intense because nothing hurts as much as teenage angst.
I have to admit track 6 "Pulling Teeth" is my least favorite song on the album, but it's immediately redeemed by "Basketcase", which was played out back in the day, but now feels nostalgic.
@acdha i can definitely do with any of those too.
@skinnylatte the time that actually happened to me was a Morcheeba album, fittingly with Tape Loop on it, but looking at my play counts it’s shifted to be a competition between Waking Hour-era Vienna Teng and the last Yeah Yeah Yeahs depending on whether you go by track or album.
@skinnylatte Blood on the Tracks (Dylan) side 1
@skinnylatte Pet Shop Boys, Alternative, side one
