     Every time I hear this point made, I'm reminded of a remark I was told in regards to the BLM protestest.
     "Why do you care? You aren't black."

     Also reminded how often assumptions are made that somene is.themselves gay or trans if they support rights for thlse groups.

     @CatDragon @jag0325 @socprof @Scienceisnotopinions @JonChevreau A coworker when I was able to work asked me, riled up, "Do YOU want to pay taxes towards someone else's medical care?!"
     Um... yes, yes I do. That's how living in a society is supoosed to work. We're supposed to take care of each other.
