Posing a question for the hardware techies out there.

If I had a 13th/14th Generation Intel Core i7/i9 and my BIOS has not been updated to include the microcode that mitigates the Vmin Shift Instability issue, and now my games are crashing with increasing frequency, what would I need to do to get up and running again?

    Asking for a friend.

@dgar There is a chance that one or the other CPUs were damaged by using them without a particular update I vaguely recall reading about. If I'm right, I think both of those generations are vulnerable. If, after new BIOS and microcode (if needed), either device still crashes as described, I'd consider replacing its CPU.
