   we got E2EE, at-rest browser/app encryption and full-disk encryption
   
   my phone is GrapheneOS though my laptop is linux which is shit for security but it's okay

     When it comes to messaging, it's such a pain that as strong as your security is, you also depend on whoever you're talking to also having strong security measures in place... I'm not gonna make sure everyone I'm talking to has a reasonably secure phone. (There are very few of them... And sometimes people can't afford them...)
     
     Getting secure hardware doesn't only protect you, it also protects your entire circle and everyone you talk to.
