@ai6yr @ascentale @bikenite I was riding mine to college. We had cool new bike lockers. For a fee, you put your bike in this box, which sat outside. Well, I'd left it for a few days and went to grab it to ride home. Opened the locker, and was about to reach in, when I noticed some shiny black objects and webs.

The university got rid of the black widows. I decided the cool new bike lockers weren't for me. It was also dangerous to ride over one overpass in particular to get there. No sidewalk. No parking space. Frequent broken bottles. Fast cars.

That was my multi-tiered excuse for not riding it there anymore. I have this skill.

@ascentale @bikenite #BikeNite A1. Ventura County, California. Have been riding my son's old bike to classes I am teaching at school. He really didn't ride the bike much in school, because the liner which keeps the spokes from popping his tube was rotted out, and the on-campus bicycle store replaced the tube twice and he gave up, and never thought to replace the liner.
